Cambugahay Falls is located just two kilometers outside the town of Lazi on Siquijor Island. From the main tourist area of San Juan, it's approximately a 30-minute drive to reach Cambugahay Falls Siquijor.
Cambugahay Falls is just one of the many tourist attractions in Siquijor. It is one of the many precious waterfalls in the Philippines wherein a great deal of tourist enjoys its fascinating ambience. Even locals within the island enjoy spending their time in the mystical waterfall together with their families.
The waterfall consists of multi-layered cascading falls with crisp and clean warm water originating from natural springs, rain water and water sheds. Water from the Cambugahay Falls flows down about three kilometers downstream making numerous wonderful swimming lagoons before it discharges into the Lazi Bay.
The first level of Cambugahay Falls features a large natural swimming hole and some man-made structures including rope swings, bamboo rafts and a wide set of falls. It's an adventurer's playground!
Visitors will surely love dipping in the water; the splashing sound that comes from the falls will relax them and the clear water will surely make them swim. Tourists can also climb up on the top of the waterfall and they will discover other smaller waterfalls on it, which is perfect for kids because of the shallower water there.
You can even rent a rubber ring for 50 pesos and go for a float around Cambugahay Falls.
Dozens of sheltered huts are available to rent around the cascades if you wish to set your belongings down away from the water's edge. There's also some make-shift change rooms for visitors to use if need be.
The entrance in Cambugahay Falls is free. There is a small parking fee - around 10 PHP. The rope swing fee is 50 PHP for unlimited swings
